Home to rolling farmlands and the Susquehanna River, Bloomsburg is an extraordinarily beautiful place to visit. What’s more, it’s located just minutes off Interstate 80, making it easy to get to from all over the East Coast.

By Car

Bloomsburg University is a one-hour drive from Williamsport, Wilkes-Barre, and Scranton, 1.5 hours from Harrisburg, 2 hours from the Lehigh Valley and Binghamton, 2.5 hours from Philadelphia and Newark, 3 hours from New York City and Baltimore, and four hours from Pittsburgh.

If you are coming from…
East of Bloomsburg: Use I-80 west to Exit 236A south.
West of Bloomsburg: Use I-80 east to Exit 236 south.
South of Bloomsburg: From Central Pennsylvania, take Routes 11 and 15 north.
Southeast Pennsylvania: Take Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) to I-80 west (Pocono Exit) to Exit 236A south.
North of Bloomsburg: From the Binghamton and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre areas, take I-81 south to I-80 west to Exit 236A south. From western and central New York, take I-390 south to US-15 south to I-80 east to Exit 236 south.
The Williamsport area: Take I-180 south to I-80 east to Exit 236 south.

From Exit 236, take Route 487 south and follow signs to campus, approximately one mile.

By Plane and Conference Shuttle

Bloomsburg University will run shuttles between Newark Liberty International Airport and Bloomsburg University. The cost of the shuttle will be $55 each way. Reservations will open soon and MUST be made by May 20, 2015. If you do not have reservations, we will not be able to accommodate you on the shuttle.
